Committee details

The Corporate Parenting Board monitors and reviews the services provided to Camden’s looked after children. It monitors the implementation of the Corporate Parenting Strategy 2021-2024 to ensure that looked after children and care leavers living in and outside the borough, do their best and make a success of their lives.

Local authorities have a duty under the Children Act 1989 to safeguard and promote the welfare of the children they look after, wherever they are placed.

Meetings of the Corporate Parenting Board are not open to the public and the agenda is only available to members of the Board.
