Committee details

The task for the panel will be to examine resident understanding and perceptions of homelessness and the experiences of accessing joined up, holistic support for those who have been or are currently homeless. It will also consider the role of the council as a leader and ‘convenor’ for the wider ‘homelessness system’, which is comprised of a range of partners across health and social care, housing, community and justice sectors.

The panel will make recommendations as to what more could be done to improve current activities and commitments within these areas.
