The Leader of the Council leads on the overall delivery of the Council’s We Make Camden Missions and Challenges and themes, organisational innovation and improvement, and supporting the participation of all citizens in community life and decision-making. He is overseeing a new focus on energy security and supporting secure livelihoods for Camden residents through supporting investment in a just transition to a low carbon environment. Given their long-term significance, he retains oversight of the Council maintaining financial stability and resilience as an organisation, High Speed 2 and Euston Station, the Community Wealth Fund and the Council’s approach to addressing inequality in the Borough.
