Purpose:

To consider the feedback following proposals to introduce new pedestrian and cycling features at these junctions.

 

Decision:

There were no alternative options considered or rejected by the Cabinet Member when making the decision. 

 

DECISION –

 

(i)        THAT the results of the public consultation exercise on cycling and walking improvement proposals to the Pancras Rd Rail Bridge/Goods Way/Camley Street junction; the PancrasRoad/Midland Road junction and the area under the rail bridge between these two junctions be noted; and

(ii)       THAT approval to proceed with the implementation of the scheme be given as set out in Appendix A of this report, subject to detailed design and compliance with statutory processes. In the event that the revised design provided in Appendix A is not granted final approval by TfL, then approval be given to proceed with the scheme as consulted upon with changes, subject to detail design and due statutory processes.
